Parkinson's Support Group


    A monthly get together for people living with Parkinson’s and also their carers. Maybe we can “HELP”?

    • Information and Advice.
    • Meeting others in a similar situation and chat over a cup of coffee.
    • Exercise sessions.
    • Massage and feel good treatments.

    Meetings are held 2.30pm - 3.30pm on the last Monday of every month in the pleasant surroundings of the recently refurbished “HELP” Activity Centre in La Xara. Please call: 634 301 677 or email: parkinsons@helpmarinaalta.org

Join us as a Volunteer

Could you "HELP" us to "HELP" those who need our "HELP" with the simple things in life, with a smile and a friendly approach?

We are always looking for more volunteers to help with any of our activities, at the hospital "HELP" desk or as interpreters. As a hospital visitor, provide local or long distance transport for patients or the infirm, to provide short term assistance to someone at home whilst a permanent solution is found. To assist in the Office & Equipment Store, Activity Centre or Charity shops.
